"Happy Birthday to me!"

After viewing this incredible tilt-shift video by Sam O'Hare on Vimeo a few months ago, I became very interested in how to duplicate this type of photography, called Tilt-Shifting. Tilt-Shifting gives images a miniature look as a blur is created around a focal point which distorts the eyes perception of the image.It's an easy process to manipulate the photo in this way.

Here are my first attempts at creating tilt-shift images. Which one's do you like best?

I really don't post on material items, but thought these were too cool not to share. These are made with actual arcade machine push buttons, which you can install just like any other light switch. If you like and interested, you can buy them here.

Now for the real question, will Katrina allow me to buy these for our house? ..... definitely not. haha.

Recorded on May 26th. Lucas was finally able to touch the floor with his feet. And he sure took advantage of it as he quickly figured out how to jump. That's my boy!!

Only seperated by 3 months, Lucas and Brody are bound to start trouble together.

Thought I'd try the Timelapse feature on my new video camera, Panasonic TM-700. I'll have to try this again when it's sunny, and maybe at a different angle. Editied with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.
