Winter Classic Logos and Rink Setup Announced

I love how both teams are going with their throwback logos. I cannot wait to see the revealing of the Capitals old school jerseys at the Capitals Convention, Saturday October 2nd.

Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA. - NHL and NFL officials held a promotional news conference media day yesterday to discuss the NHL 2011 Winter Classic, and show the location of the NHL rink on the football field. The game will be played on January 1st, 2011.

Too bad we can't go :-) Hopefully we'll be too busy taking care of a little one... if not, then I will be one huge grumpy blimp.

It's ok. We cannot go anyway due to Ryken's Alumni game being played that afternoon. At least we can watch it on the big screen with our little family wearing our matching Capitals jerseys :D

Very Cool! The caps reminds me of the t-shirts you and your buddys dup'd and use to wear!! I like the old look....
