Some of you may have noticed the different logos created for the NFL Weekly Picks - in the Sports section, specifically the Spartans logo. I made it last week and it was the first time I drew something by hand and transfered it to the computer to digitally enhance it. Here's how I did it:

I drew the Spartan logo on paper. |

I scanned the drawing to my computer, using my Bamboo Fun digital pen tablet Katrina bought me for my birthday, outlined and cleaned up the image. |

Added color. |
4. |
Then added highlights and shadows to the image to give it depth and character. |
